Hacking The Robot.

The tools you will need are as follows:

  • A RoboSapien (duh)

  • Hot glue gun (I recommend surebond brand)

  • Wire jackets or shrink wrap

  • 2 spools of flux/rosin core solder

  • soldering iron

  • Dremel

  • super glue

  • narrow long Phillips head screwdriver

  • smaller screwdrivers

  • Velcro and fabric for the fabric neck

  • coat hanger wire

  • needle nose pliers

  • wire tools (clippers, heat shrink, electrical tape and jacket removers)

Once you have ensured that you have everything listed above, you need to order the items in the amazon list below.

Computer (Raspberry Pi 02W)

Pi Header Tool (If needed)

ToF sensor for basic navigation

For Super Pysapien: (Not required) Coral TPU

OTG cord for linking TPU

Camera Module

Batteries and charger board

Battery Connects (Optional)

Face Screen (Must be IIC)

Speaker

Bluetooth Circuit

Motor Drivers (You 4 of them)

Positive Contact Foot Relay

INA 219 (You must remove the shunt)

Camera Extension

Servos (head/claws)

Barrel Connector

GPIO expander

Cooling fan

High gauge wire (For battery connects)

Low gauge jumper wire (For computer and everything else)

Toggle Switch (used for deep cycle and power)

And you can pick up these parts from your local supermarket:

Good, cheap SD Card (200 GB recommended for later AI updates)

Car Charger (good way to get a cheap high amperage buck converter)

Some metal tape for the battery contacts

It should cost anywhere from 150 bucks to 200 bucks.

You can probably build 2 PySapiens with most of these items, bulk is the only option for fast shipping. If you have the experience and time, I would recommend using alibaba or some other cheap e commerce platform.

As there is no official guide yet, the list ends here.

I am however, working on the build guide right now.

feel free to attempt to build the robot as you see fit for the time being.
