Things are underway...

We are currently working on a setup that moves the files into the desired directories, as well as generates configuration files for each system based on your settings. This is so the system has a hands-free setup.

The Active Trial

There is one active tester currently running Orban 0.5.0, Netman 0.4.0, Panel 0.4.8 and IOserver 0.4.5 . The trial has shown some impressive results.

Orban bugfixes are extensive enough for the program to "just work" most of the time. I'll come in the house and accidentally activate the Orban system just by mentioning it. Sometimes I just expect Orban to respond to me out of nowhere. That's how you know that it works.

Panel and IOserver have been running for days on end, too. Temperature and humidity readings are reading correctly, the weather widget updates correctly, widgets can be freely manipulated and while there are some bugs in Panel, particularly with moving the tank widget on page 1, everything seems to work for the most part as well.

There are issues with the program breaking and needing a restart when the router hosting Orban's systems drops connection to the individual computers, but will be fixed in 0.6.0 .

Right now we are prioritizing the setup process and an early adopter experience.
